The 4-hour Basic Life Support first aid course covers
- Dealing with incidents
- Helping an unconscious person.
- Resuscitation, i.e. CPR for a non-breathing casualty.
- Dealing with bleeding
- Choking and common emergencies
The successful participants (which we expect will be everybody!) will receive a “Basic Life Support” certificate, accredited Active Aid. The course provides a basic introduction to simple first aid, and is designed to provide reassurance in case you are ever faced with an emergency in or around the home.
Pre-requisites
No previous experience is required, and no prior knowledge is assumed. This course is specifically aimed at beginners.
Course Duration & Cost
This is a half day or evening course. The cost is £450 for a course for up to 12 people. We do not offer public “open” courses,
